On Saturday, December 12, 2009, we went on a trolley ride through Waikiki and downtown Honolulu to look at Christmas lights. It was a beautiful night (about 77°) and the lights were gorgeous.
After a ride through downtown, the trolley dropped us off at Honolulu Hale, which is similar to the Trail of Lights in Austin. They had a few vendors with hot cocoa, milk & cookies, light-up swords, glow necklaces, and balloon animals. They also had a bunch of different Christmas trees decorated by different groups in the community.
It was a really fun night! We were all pooped, though, by the time we caught the trolley to take us back. Sam actually fell asleep!
